The French Revoultion

1) Everyone was critical of the king, noble and clergy has an easy life style. They didn't have to pay tax for lands 2) In 1789 the French would grumble about the taxes to the king. They already have very little money, and they would have to pay a lot of taxes. 3) This picture is saying that the peasants do all the work and lift the King and nobles and clergy up. They carry the burden of maintaining the feudal lords and clergy. The peasant is on the bottom and the other two are the Clergy and feudal lords. The quote means that the peasants hope that this abuse will end soon. 4) The french lives horrible. They always have to please the king, do this and that for him. They had to give the 20kg of wheat and 3 chickens as feudal dues to one lord and even more to the kings tax collectors.5) Yes, it does explain why they resented the rich. The wealthy men and women has to do very little and gained a lot of money. Poor men and women has to pay stocks and pay for taxes with only $750-$200 a year. All the peasant money was given away to the wealthy. 6) The peasants would be most influenced by his words, He is trying to say 1 man can't control over 1000 people.7) I think that the pamphlet was banned because they knew that if the people saw this they would rebel. The rich and clergy wanted to ban it because they knew that the only reason they were so rich and had so much power was because of the peasant's

Copernicus and the trial of Galileo

There are two types of of theories for the solar system, which are the geocentric and the heliocentric. the heliocentric theory is that the sun is in the center of the solar system. The other theory is the geocentric also known as the geocentric model. The geocentric model created by Greek astronomers assumed that the celestial bodies moving about the Earth followed perfectly circular paths. this theory was to believe that the the earth was in the center and the other planets and stars revolved around it. the heliocentric theory was created first and the catholic church strongly believed in and enforced. then later on Galileo came up with another theory known as the Geocentric model. this proving that the sun was in the middle and the earth and everything else revolved around it. his theory came was created in the scientific revolution. the trail of galileo was huge. galileo was forced to say that he didnt believe in copernicus's theory to avoid his death. then he was put into house arrest till his envitble death.

The scientific method

The scientific method was made during the scientific revoultion. the method is used and created to help organize ideas and experiments yet to be done. the scientific method consist of 5 stages, which are Observation, Analysis, Hypothesis building, Hypothesis testing, and Finally the scientific Theory. Observation is gathering knowledge through personal exsperience. Analysis is deeply studying your objective or subject. Hypothesis building is using you observation and analysis to create your solid answer to the problem. Hypothesis testing is to conduct an experiment to try and prove your theory wrong or write thus coming up with a soultion. and finally these steps create your own scientific theory.

Evoultion Vs. Creation

after reading the two links which included much of what i did know and didnt, i stood with the same conclusion. creation the religious based answer for creation of earth, pluto, stars, space, the sky, and the farthest reaches of the cosmos is nothing but fiction to me. i beleive evolution is the answer for all. i mean possibilites of gods and the heavens can be possible,i guess till eventually science proves that wrong. Evolution is a bit akward i do admit. im just leaving my questions unanswered. Possiblites of evoultion and and creation both are just theories so, i guess ill see what happens...
